During my senior year of high school, I had the opportunity to shadow the SLP at a grade school. I immediately knew that this was the field I wanted to begin my college career in because I wanted to help people achieve their right to communicate. I fell in love with the fact that Speech Pathology covers such a wide scope of populations. As I went further in my education and was able to start seeing clients, I discovered that I am passionate about working with both adults and children. I recently moved to the Chattanooga area for my last semester of clinicals and just graduated with my master’s degree. I am eager to learn, grow, and apply what I have learned over the past 6 years at Can Do Kids.
