My experience with the field of Speech-Language Pathology started when my younger sister was diagnosed with an intellectual disability at age 3, and received speech-language therapy through a private practice throughout our childhood. Witnessing my sisters challenges firsthand ignited my passion to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families facing similar difficulties. I have been an SLP for 7 years now, working across school and medical settings and I can honestly say I LOVE my job! My passions include parent education, American Sign Language, and play-based therapy. I strive to build a positive connection with each child and family, encouraging independence and curiosity within my sessions. Outside of work I enjoy being outdoors, hiking with my husband and dogs, and spending time with friends and family.
