Occupational Therapy Assistant

Short Biography

The holistic approach that Occupational Therapy encompasses fits my belief that people are unique, multifaceted, and that life’s journey looks different for all of us. As a child I struggled with my own special way of learning and thought how much I could have benefited from OT if offered alongside my classroom education. I immediately felt connected with the kids I worked with in the school setting during clinical rotations and knew then that pediatrics was where my heart was.

After graduating, I came on board with Can Do Kids and work as a school therapist as well as part-time in the clinic. It’s an honor to work with such a great team here and the children keep me motivated to find creative and fun ways to help them reach their goals in their own special way. I hope that I can have a positive impact on the lives of these kids and leave them with a lasting sense of accomplishment and self-worth.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and baby girl. We love camping in the beautiful natural settings nearby, concerts in the park, and splashing around at our nearby splash park.
