My love for babies began at just 3 years old when I held my newborn cousin for the first time. From then on, I knew I wanted to work with kids when I grew up. Being a neonatal nurse was a dream of mine for many years, but at 17 I realized nursing was not the career for me. I was on the path to become an elementary school teacher, but during my senior year of high school, I discovered occupational therapy from a career assessment. After researching OT, I knew this was the field for me. OT allows me to help children grow to their full potential. I love seeing the progress my kiddos make! In my free time, you will most likely see me with my fiancé or 2-year-old niece, and we will probably be shopping! I completed 2 clinical rotations here at Can Do Kids, and I have been blessed with the opportunity to begin my OT career here! I am so excited to see where my journey at CDK takes me!
