My journey into Speech-Language Pathology began through a friend who was an
SLP in the schools. Hearing about the meaningful connections she built with children and
the difference she made in their lives inspired me to pursue a career focused on helping
children communicate, grow, and reach their fullest potential.
Throughout my clinical experiences, I discovered a true passion for working with
children and helping them grow their speech, language, and functional communication
skills. During one of my graduate internships, I had the opportunity to complete a clinical
placement at Can Do Kids, where I quickly fell in love with the welcoming environment,
the incredible team, and the opportunity to serve pediatric clients. My experience at Can
Do Kids confirmed my passion for pediatric therapy and the importance of building
meaningful relationships with the children and families I serve.
I believe that children learn best when they feel safe, supported, and excited to
participate. My goal is to create a fun, inviting, and encouraging therapy environment
where each child feels valued and confident while working toward their goals. Through
play-based intervention, I strive to build connections with each child, celebrate their
individual strengths, and make therapy a positive experience where they can learn, grow,
and succeed.
